Thank you to everyone who signed up for our inaugural flag football league.  We strongly believe in this draft model and know that it will create fun, fair, and even teams in the long term, but we knew the first season would see it's share of bumps and bruises.

The biggest one is that Saturday afternoons simply does not work as a time slot.  It is impossible to balance teams when entire teams do not show, and it seems as though schedule conflicts are just too rampant to make a Saturday timeslot work.  With that in mind, we will be cancelling the remaining Saturdays for flag football.  Thank you for everyone who showed up and kept your commitment to the league.  It was a blast playing with you even within the chaos, and I hope we can re-invent ourselves and get some fresh blood to bring this back soon.

If you are available to play on Thursdays, there is a healthy league doing well with its four teams and squads could likely use another body or two to help them with a playoff push.  Please let me know if you would like to transfer your registration and we will facilitate.  Otherwise, we will be providing a partial refund to players to cover the missing weeks of play.  If you are interested in other leagues such as Pickleball, Softball, Kickball, or others, we are also happy to transfer your registration to another sport/league of your choice.  

Going forward, we will be meeting with Indy Healthplex to identify another day/time combination to try for Flag Football starting up again in the coming weeks.  For those of you who have been showing up and enjoying the play, I hope you'll join us again.  Speaking of which, we are looking for coaches and others interested in growing this sport with us.

We have had two great weeks of Thursday football and are officially starting the regular season for Saturdays, so thank you to all players who have come out and played so far.  We have had a number of requests for different nights and start times, so we are doing a survey to find out general player availability.  This information is very important to help us develop the league, so one random player will receive their next league fee completely comped - so please fill it out when you are able!
