We are a week away from our first tourney of the year and wanted to share with you some quick updates about our plans for the event.
Schedule Has Changed
We've heard from many players about some challenges relating to our initial schedule a travel timing, and thankfully we have enough fields to be flexible so we've made a couple of changes.
- Friday Games are Unchanged
All teams will have one game on Friday evening. - Saturday Games Bumped up to 9:30am Start
Additionally, there is an extra round of play on Saturday - Sunday "IF" Game Now at 2:15pm
Play on Sunday still starts at 8am
Long story short, we are finishing early on Sunday to make sure everyone can make their flights home!
Home Run Derby Saturday Night
To make this schedule work and keep everyone from being at the park too long on Saturday, the Home Run Derby will run from 3pm until the last games for the evening finish. Starting around 3pm, games will move down to 4 fields and the fifth field is where we will hold the Home Run Derby. Sign ups, rules, and more will be available on site so make sure you visit the Suncoast station to sign up!
Free Agents Will Be Placed Next Thursday
We have had a number of drops recently, so if you are reading this message and you have not paid but are interested in playing, please reach out to support and we can get you in. If you are paid but not on a team yet then don't worry - you're in! You will officially be placed on a team next Thursday. Here's our Placement Procedure if you'd like to learn why we wait until close to the tournament for free agent placements.
