It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we write this email.
Over the weekend, we lost one of our own, Victor Maxson. Victor was a devoted husband, a loving father, a loyal friend, and a truly wonderful person. His kindness, laughter, and presence left a lasting impact on so many people, both on and off the softball field. He meant so much to our community, and his loss is one that will be felt deeply by all who knew and loved him.
As a league, we are more than teammates—we are a family. In moments like these, we come together to support one another, to grieve together, and to honor those who have made our community what it is.
To allow our players, coaches, families, and friends the opportunity to attend Victor's funeral services and be with one another during this difficult time, all games scheduled for this week will be postponed and rescheduled.
We know this may create some inconvenience, and we sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and grace as we navigate these changes. Your coaches will keep you informed as updated schedules become available.
Please keep Victor's wife, children, family, and everyone who loved him in your thoughts and prayers in the days and weeks ahead. We hope you'll also take a moment to hug your loved ones a little tighter, tell the people in your life how much they mean to you, and remember that our time together is precious.
