League Joe is Back for the Winter Season - Bundle Up!

We're bringing the fun of the DRAFT LEAGUE experience to Middle Missouri, working alongside Ballparks National at Osage Beach Park! This is league is open to ALL AGES, ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS, and anyone who believes slowpitch softball should be FUN!

What is a DRAFT league? It's a league where all players enter a pool and are selected by coaches before the season begins. All players are ranked based on their experience level, and each team drafts according to a salary cap. This creates even competition, fun head-to-head matchups, and unparalleled social fun as the entire league participates in after parties as a single entity. 

We are currently looking for interested players for a MidMo League on WEDNESDAY nights at City of Osage Beach. Two games per night on a rotating timeslot, so games will be in the evening starting no earlier than 6:30 pm CT.

We will be looking for interested players to serve as coaches for the first season, and we'll have an inaugural draft party to draft everyone to their new teams and get the league started ASAP within the next couple weeks. Contact us with any questions!

Players will be given several package options to select. 

Additional Details
No outside food or drink, especially alcohol. Coolers will be checked. No metal cleats on the field. No smoking on the field or dugout.

Schedule Overview

Weather Dependent Scheduling:
Each week, we will make a 48-hour advance notice call on whether or not we will play that week (so Monday night).  We will only play when weather looks less-than-miserable, which we will feel out a bit.  Any forecast for wet, extreme cold, extreme wind, etc will just be an automatic punt.  We will take off for Thanksgiving,  Christmas and New Years.

MidMo Winter Update - Schedule & Spring

After discussions with the park, the fields still have not dried up enough for us to play on them safely, so there will be no ball tonight.  I know this is frustrating as the sun starts to finally emerge and the Spring gets closer and closer.  This Winter League was an experiment and at the beginning of the season we mentioned that if we don't get enough games in, we will issue players a credit to be used towards Spring sessions and that remains the plan.  

By our count, we have played 3 out of the total 8 weeks we promised, and we have about 5-6 weeks of possible play before the Spring seasons begin.  So for now, we will continue moving forward with fingers crossed that we can get several weeks in a row done and finish the season with a bang.  If not, you'll receive the proportional credit.

Speaking of the Spring, we will be offering both a Tuesday and a Thursday league offering, but the start date for both is dependant upon the conclusion of the youth league registration period.  Once the youth leagues are done signing up, we'll know how many fields we have available and will put up the registration information for both leagues.  So please stay tuned as we fully intend to get ball started in April, but have our hands tied in terms of when we can open registration.

Cancellation
